Time to buy this steel stock?

1) The Steel industry is turning from weakness to strength.

2) CLF is undervalued and (3) It has a short squeeze potential.

4) The stock is up today (as of ~1:30 PM EST) by more than 6.7%.

5) The chart is showing it is breaking out of a low base. If the breakout is confirmed today (so far it looks like it will be confirmed decisively), then it may be a low-price-breakout buying opportunity.

Twenty days ago, I posted an analysis on $CLF with the headline "Time to buy this steel stock?".

It indeed was the time.

1) On 22nd Nov, I suggested buying CLF as a breakout long candidate. You could easily identify the breakout trade opportunity using CUE Breakout Long scan program or Sonar, as I did on that day.

2) Today, on 12th Dec, that trade has hit the initial profit target, and you may take some money off the table.

3) I set the initial stop using the Protection indicator. That kept the stop a safe distance away.

4) On 3rd Dec, CLF had a large gap-down open, and initially, the price fell farther after the open. However, the Protection stop was not hit. It very nicely protected against a significant loss, however, kept the position being whipsawed.

5) Now, if you book profit on partial position and let profit run on the remaining position, you may use the same Protection indicator to set your trailing stop.
